I am pleased to share that Azadi, an individual work from my photographic series Homesick, has received two distinctions at the 2026 Budapest International Foto Awards (BIFA): a Silver Award in Architecture – Cityscape and an Honorable Mention in Fine Art – Other.
The same photograph was also named an IPA 2026 Official Selection at the International Photography Awards.
Originally developed as part of Homesick, this work explores the relationship between place, memory, identity, and the longing for freedom. Having it recognized by two international photography platforms is particularly meaningful to me.
